Guild sculpture of the, in guild circles famous, flag-waver Frans Louwers from Oirschot (the Netherlands). He became famous thanks to his dynamic and athletic way of (acrobatic) flag-waving. Even now, flag-wavers who studied the art by learning his tips succeed in flag-waving competitions, collecting numerous prizes. This sculpture was made to celebrate the 475th birthday of the Guild of St. Sebastian from Oirschot, and to show my gratitude for what this amazing flag-waving champion has done for my son Jerome.
